A hard copy of this handbook is provided to every student in Dickenson County Public Schools at the beginning of each school year.  The final page of the Handbook is a detachable page including three statements for which student and/or parent signatures are required: 

• acknowledgment that the parent received a copy of the DCPS student conduct code and a copy of the Virginia Code Section 22.1-279.3
• acknowledgment that the parent and student have read the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct
• agreement to abide by the DCPS Acceptable Computer Use Policy and Regulation

Each DCPS student must return this signed page to school each year.
